Kabuki Sushi Speed Eating Championship 2019

HOW FAST CAN YOU EAT A 5FT SUSHI ROLL?


In celebration of Kabuki Irving's first anniversary in Irving, Texas, we are hosting the Kabuki Sushi Speed Eating Championship that will take place at the Toyota Music Factory. All contestants will receive a free t-shirt and a free Japanese bandana head band. The champion will win a $300 Kabuki Gift Card as well as Live Nation tickets and more! How fast can YOU eat a 5 foot sushi roll?

After filling out the form here, we will contact you via email or phone within 24 hours to complete registration fee payment and agreement to the terms and liability.

Rules of the competition:
Food cannot be touched or manipulated by contestants prior to start
Contestants can drink as much water while eating- bottled water will be provided
Any food that passes the lips into the mouth must stay in the mouth, vomiting or regurgitating will result to disqualification
Individual sushi rolls cannot be dunked in liquid and liquid cannot be poured over them
Individual sushi rolls cannot be separated, torn apart, mashed or balled
All reasonable effort must be taken to keep the sushi intact as they are eaten
The timer for the contestant will stop after the last sushi roll has been swallowed, contestant will have to show that the food has been swallowed before the timer stops

Registration can be done online at kabukirestaurants.com or in person at Kabuki Irving | Limited to only 10 contestants, all 10 contestants must complete all parts of the registration as mentioned above to be considered a contestant | Participation in this event will be at the discretion of Kabuki Japanese Restaurnat, as they reserve the right to review an entrant’s registration | Contestants have to be over 18 years old upon registration | Contestants are required to sign a liability form at registration and pay a $25 registration fee | A $25 Kabuki Gift Card will be given to each contestant at the end of the event, winner of the championship not included | Registration closes April 1st, 2019, 12pm PST
